It’s that time of year again. Love it or loath it, Arthurs Day 2013 will be taking place on Thursday across the nation. Hundreds of pubs and artists have signed up once again to showcase Irish music in pubs and venues across the land.
If you are heading out on Arthurs Day, the first question everyone is asking is who is playing in which of the big venues. As with every year though, we won’t know until the last minute. So those of you who have your tickets for the venues in Cork, Belfast and Dublin… Enjoy your shows.
Those of you taking a chance on a pub and hoping that one of your favourite acts might walk through the doors. Here’s a list of all the bands we know to be currently playing on Arthurs Day somewhere in the country. Being official pubs, it’s probably your best bet to align yourself to a pub somewhere on this list. If we hear any rumours we’ll add them to the list.
Rumours: Emile Sande & Kodaline and Janelle Monae (Reardens) rumoured for Cork, Biffy Clyro rumoured for Belfast. The Manics have been tweeting from Galway today. Kodaline appear also set for a small pub performance in Dublin according to 2FM earlier at the Storehouse.
