There’s plenty to keep you busy in Dublin this week, including performances from some of the biggest acts in the world. Leonard Cohen is taking up residency in the Royal Hospital Kilmainham for four nights. He’s definitely one of those people who everyone has on their list of people to see, so for that reason he’s this weeks Gig of the Week. The maestro of misery’s concerts are never short of amazing, so no wonder he can demand a steep €105 for a ticket. Tickets are still available.
Grammy award nominee Joshua Redman Trio play The Button Factory on Wednesday and Pavilion Theatre on Sunday, tickets €25. Scottish indie rockers Frightened Rabbit are on a whirlwind tour of Ireland, taking in Cork on Wednesday, Galway on Thursday, The Academy in Dublin on Friday and finishing up in Belfast on Saturday. Saturday see’s Lady Gaga bring her Born This Way Ball to The Aviva Stadium. There’s some very keen Little Monsters already queuing up outside trying to secure a spot as close to their icon as they can. The Darkness and Lady Starlight will lend support. Tickets are still available and range from €54.65 – €96.
