GoldenPlec are delighted to bring you the exclusive stream of Wyvern Lingo’s new EP – ‘The Widow Knows EP’.
We’ve been tipping Wyvern Lingo to make big strides this year after placing them in our ‘Plec Picks’ for 2014 list at the start of this year. So far, they have not let us down with a string of captivating live video recordings, stunning live performances and they even graced our GoldenPlec Fairie Field stage at this years KnockanStockan.
This week, we’ve been lucky enough to have the EP in our greedy grasps. Stephen Murphy sat down with it and explained that the EP is “…too experimental to be called pop, too energetic to be called folk and too complex to be called soul.”. He then concludes “..but what they reveal most explicitly is that Karen Cowley, Saoirse Duane and Caoimhe Barry have a long and prosperous musical voyage ahead of them”. Read the full review here.
